Hybricks
A remote collaborative LEGO® play experience designed to support children’s social and emotional development.
Hybricks
Pioneer the Future of Remote LEGO® Play
[Overview]
HyBrick is an evolution of the Brick-by-Brick® Programme, originally developed by Play Included® and founded by Dr. Gina. We pioneered a remote LEGO® experience on mobile and tablet platforms using AR technology. In this project, I led the UX design — facilitating workshops with stakeholders, defining user journeys for both children and facilitators, and prototyping and testing interactive features that support social-emotional development through remote collaborative play.
[Highlights]
Cross-functional collaboration and get stakeholders buy-ins:
Initiated design reviews and co-creation workshops with clients, ensuring feedback was integrated early and designs met both user needs and compliance standards.
Maintain clear design documentation:
Collaborated with engineers to define and implement core features such as gesture controls, camera movement, and pin functionality, ensuring technical feasibility aligned with user experience goals.
Led moderated user testing sessions to evaluate interaction design and usability, synthesizing insights into actionable iterations that enhanced remote collaboration and engagement.
I’m currently in the process of organizing this project—please feel free to visit the website for more details in the meantime.
